The morning of July 28th 2010 was a very eventful one in St-Isidore-de-Clifton. The SQ converged on Rg. 7, seizing 8000 marijuana plants ranging in size from very young to mature. This seizure was headed by the S.Q. Memphremagog and Cookshire detachments. The S.Q. found this plantation with the help of the Public after a very short investigation. according to Eloise Cossette of the S.Q., this seizure equalled the total seizure of marijuana plants for the entire '09.
This is considered a huge drug pickup and should cut down the drug trade in the area. The drug was found in small patches all over the land. The Haut-Saint-François detachment stationed in Cookshire is investigating and hope to make many arrests from it soon. The operation is called "Opération Cisaille".
This shows the drug growers around that in St-Isidore-de-Clifton, this is not allowed and they will get caught.
This seizure of 8000 plants had a street value of just under 8 million dollars
